My question is at what point does the act of using completely dishonest means in an attempt to undermine a nations war effort rise to the level of treason?
It's now obvious that the democrats have been solely focused on undermining the administration from day one. And if in the process they collapse support for our efforts in Iraq - and with that condemn 25 million people to a living hell - then so be it.
I used to take with a grain of sand comments about the liberal lust for power trumping anything they say they stand for. No more. They don't represent this country's ideals, they're not even the democratic party I grew up respecting. They resemble an organized crime syndicate more than they do a political party. No wonder the patriot act makes em nervous - a lot of it is based on the ricoh act used against the mob so successfully.
Bottom line - The "democratic" party and those who knowingly support its actions are not the loyal opposition. While this country is at war they represent a fifth column. As such they should be pointedly rebuked and made to see the error in their ways. Or, failing that, destroyed as a political party. And its leaders charged with sedition or where possible, treason.
